 ADMISSIONS Students following this course do not require prior sociological knowledge. However it is recommended that students should at least achieve a grade B in their GCSE English Literature and History GCSE.

 COURSE This course helps students to gain a critical understanding of society in which they live. They learn how society shapes their ideas, social behaviour and cultures and, how, in turn, people interact together and shape their societies.

 ASSESSMENT Students are assessed using a range of methods that meet the AQA board requirements. These include essay writing, research, presentations, report writing and exam practice.
