Two teachers teach the AS course with an emphasis on practical work. It builds on work that has already been covered at GCSE, allowing the student to have a deeper understanding of Chemistry. The A2 course extends the work covered by the AS course. | ASSESSMENT |
Units 1, 2 & 3 are taken at the end of the first year and 4, 5 & 6 at the end of the second year. Units 3 and 6 are internal practical assessments, which are cariied out throughout the course. |
