All pupils will follow the Higher tier of the Edexcel Syllabus.  The examination consists of two papers, each of one and three quarter hours duration.  Both papers are worth 40% each and paper one is non-calculator paper.  Coursework is compulsory and each student must submit one Data Handling project worth 10% and at least one investigational task worth 10 %.

Set 1 will sit the GCSE examination early in the November of Year 11 and then go on to study various A-Level topics.  Higher Tier cover grades A*, A, B, C, D.
