Details of KS3 Religious Studies
The six major religions are taught during KS3, with Christianity as the main focus. We follow the Kent agreed syllabus for Religious Studies and incorporate as many different teaching styles as possible, including ICT work, drama, craft and educational visits.
In Year 7 the syllabus comprises Of Judaism and Christianity; Year 8 - Hinduism, Christianity and Sikhism; Year 9 - Islam, Christianity and Buddhism. Many pupils go on to choose this subject as an option at GCSE, A-Level and Higher Education. |
