ICT is taught as a subject during year 7 and 8 where a number of projects based on the QCA schemes of work are followed. In years 8 and 9 ICT is also delivered as a cross curricula course along with a lesson each fortnight in year 8 to prepare for the Key Stage three tests at the end off the year. Year 9 undertook the QCA trials of the on-line tests during May 2006 but from next year the tests will be in year 8 a whole school pilot will take place next year.
