How is the House System organised?

There are four houses at Borden Grammar school: Lords, Twickenham, Wembley and Wimbledon. The House competition is intended to encourage co-operation between students of different year groups, as well as a greater sense of belonging to the school community. All our students are a member of one of the four houses and compete in a wide range of academic and sporting competitions. Alongside competing in one-off events students also contribute to the house competiition by their collection of house points. Their house points are 'cashed-in' and emphasise the importance placed upon academic success at our school. Students are regularly informed of upcoming events through house assemblies and a house notice board.
